ASMC Washington Chapter has donated $2,500 to Pets for Vets

     "Healing Vets and Saving Pets
At Pets for Vets, we believe our country owes military veterans a debt of gratitude. Our soldiers have been brave but many of them have returned with physical and emotional injuries that have made it difficult to transition back to civilian life. Some estimates state that as many as 20% of returning military veterans suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)."

2014 Washington Chapter Distinguished Service Award
Presented to Jay Lane

Chapter President, Mr. Doug Bennet, will present Jay Lane the Chapter 2014 Distinguished Service award.  Mr. Jay Lane has been deeply involved in the ASMC Washington Chapter National Capital Region PDI event for the last ten years - which is truly a year around commitment of time, energy, and balance. As the NCR PDI Facilities Chair during that period, he has recruited outstanding additional professionals from KPMG for his Facilities team and quietly ensured that our event is world class from a facilities perspective - to include audio visual capabilities, meals, expansion abilities, etc. As he prepares to retire, he has ensured succession planning for his Facilities leadership position for our NCR PDI moving forward. Additionally, Jay has served on the ASMC National Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) as Vice Chair for the 2012-2014 term - performing valuable duties for the benefit of our corporate members and the entire professional association.
