2012 Student Scholarship Program
Each
year, the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Military
Comptrollers (ASMC) awards several gifts to graduating high school
seniors recognized as outstanding students
who are entering a field
of study related to financial operations. Winners were selected based
on their Scholastic Achievements, Leadership Ability, Extracurricular
Activities, and Career Goals. Application
deadline : February 10, 2012.

ASMC
is the non-profit educational and professional organization
for persons, military and civilian, involved in the overall
field of military comptrollership. Military comptrollership
is defined as the professions of financial management in the
Department of Defense and Coast Guard.
ASMC promotes the education
and training of its members, and supports the development
and advancement of the profession of military
comptrollership. The society sponsors research, provides
professional programs to keep members abreast of current
issues and encourages the exchange of techniques and
approaches.
