Many thanks to Washington Chapter members who donated money, schools supplies and food for the under privileged children at Mount Eagle Elementary School. Under the leadership of Jean Terrill, our Community Service Committee Chairperson, in addition to Toys for Tots distributed at Christmas, the chapter provided three large bags of food each containing items to prepare a full course holiday dinner. Each bag also included a $25 gift certificate for the meat. etc. With the money donated we purchased and distributed 10 pairs of socks, 18 caps, 15 hats and scarves, 6 sets of gloves and caps, 7 pairs of ear muffs and 48 pairs of gloves.
