If you need assistance or find you need to cancel your registration up to five days before the luncheon, you may contact the program administrator and receive a refund on your credit card or credit for any future luncheon.  Cancellations within five days of the luncheon will get credit for the next luncheon only.

  • Cancellations up to the previous Thursday may get full refund or (preferred) get credit for any future luncheon.

 BIOGRAPHY CDR COLIN E. CAMPBELL

    CDR Campbell is Chief, Audit Remediation Division (CG-845) in the Office of Financial Policy, Reporting, & Property (CG-84) at Coast Guard Headquarters.  As Division Chief, he is responsible for facilitating the remediation of long-standing audit discrepancies identified during DHS Inspector General financial audits.  CDR Campbell is also responsible for driving efficient and effective Coast Guard-wide financial operations, providing subject matter expertise, facilitation, and project management to execute Mission Action Plans based on the Financial Strategy for Transformation and Audit Readiness that will allow the Commandant to assert to our financial statements.

    Previously, CDR Campbell served within the Audit Remediation Division as the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable remediation team lead, helping to secure the Coast Guard and DHS’ first favorable financial audit opinion since 2003.

    Other assignments include Deck Watch Officer aboard the Cutter PLANETREE (WLB 307) in Ketchikan, AK; Chief, Commercial Vessel Safety and then Chief, Port Operations at Marine Safety Unit, Lake Charles, LA; Operations Officer aboard the Cutter MOHAWK (WMEC 913) in Key West, FL; Chief, Domestic Vessel Inspections Branch and then Chief, Port Safety and Security Division at Marine Safety Office, San Francisco Bay, CA; and Business Financial Manager for Rescue 21, where he planned and managed budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities for the Coast Guard’s largest-ever technology acquisition project, deploying the Coast Guard’s distress notification and command, control, and communications system supporting all Coast Guard missions.

    CDR Campbell’s awards include four Coast Guard Commendation Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation Ribbon, and various other unit, team, and service awards, including the DHS CFO audit team award for Superior Mission Achievement.

    CDR Campbell graduated from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy with a Bachelors of Science degree with Honors in Government in 1996.  CDR Campbell received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007.  He is a Certified Government Financial Manager and wears the permanent Marine Safety Insignia.
