EXCITING NEWS for all ASMC Washington Chapter Members
ASMC Washington Chapter
has implemented a pilot online registration and
payment program for our monthly luncheon meetings. This is an extension
of the same system our members have been using to register for our annual
March National Capital Region PDI as well as our annual Golf Tournament each
July, so it should be fairly straight-forward for everyone!
This pilot will be in
effect from October 2011 through February 2012, at which time it will be
permanently implemented. We are asking for your assistance and cooperation
to USE THIS PROCESS and provide us with any feedback that will help us to
refine it for permanent usage. Once the pilot is completed in February,
there will be no more telephone or email registrations allowed.
After February 1, 2012, Walk-ins will be charged a $10 late fee for members
and a $12 late fee for non-members. Please plan ahead!”
If you need assistance
or find you need to cancel your registration up to five days before the
luncheon, you may contact the program administrator and receive a refund on
your credit card. Cancellations within two days of the luncheon forfeit any
payment, as the chapter incurs the cost of the luncheon.

Leif C. Ulstrup
President
NPS – Federal Consulting Practice
Mr. Ulstrup is President of the Federal Consulting Practice (FCP)
within CSC’s North American Public Sector. The Federal Consulting Practice
delivers management and technology advice and solutions to public sector
clients. The areas of specialization include enterprise applications (Oracle
and SAP), logistics and supply chain management, strategy and change management,
enterprise architectures, cloud computing, cyber security, advanced technology
architectures, and program management.
Before joining CSC in September 2009, Mr. Ulstrup was a
Principal (consulting partner) at Deloitte Consulting LLP (2005-2009). At
Touchstone Consulting he was Vice President of the Defense and Intelligence
Business Unit (2003-2005). He also served as a Vice President at American
Management Systems (1989-2003) and was a Software Engineer for TRW (1982-1989).
Mr. Ulstrup is a graduate of MIT and the Harvard Business
School General Manager Program. Mr. Ulstrup is also a member of MIT’s
Engineering Systems Division Alumni Advisory Council and is co-chair of American
University’s Kogod School of Business Information Technology Executive Council.
He served on the board of directors of the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington,
DC from 2000 to 2006.
