Raquel Escribano just recently redeployed back to Headquarters Marine Corps after serving as the Lead Financial Resource Manager for U.S. Forces Afghanistan for the past 11 months. She currently serving as a budget analyst in the Budget Execution Section of the Programs and Resources (P&R) Department. Prior to this position Ms. Escribano worked in the Budget Formulation Section on the Depot Maintenance, Marine Corps Maritime Prepositioning Program, and Maritime Prepositioning Force programs. She also worked a year and a half as a Financial Systems Analyst for the Systems Section of P&R. She served four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. She is a Certified Defense Financial Manager, received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Averett University, Danville, Virginia in 2003, and graduated Sigma Beta Delta receiving a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida in 2005.
