John Roth directs and supervises the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) of the DoD, as well as the establishment of budgetary principles, policies, sytems and procedures. He oversees the formulation, management and execution fo the budget of the Dod and the development of financing policy within the DoD. He also directs an automated management system to support the PPBD process.
