Management Analyst, Transformation, Priorities, & Requirements, Human Resources Management (HRM) Directorate, Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA)

 

Ms. Amy Anda is a Management Analyst in the Transformation, Priorities, & Requirements, Human Resources Management (HRM) Directorate at the Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA). In this role, she works with both the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the Services to develop requirements and standards for HRM across the Department of Defense (DoD) and set priorities for human resources systems within DoD.  

 

For the last year, she has been on a special assignment serving as the Special Assistant to the Defense Integrated Military Human Resources System (DIMHRS) Enterprise Program Manager.  In this role, she has been a key member of the management team responsible for the successful and timely development and configuration of the DIMHRS Core Information Technology (IT) Investment and the transition of the solution to the military departments.

 

Prior to joining the BTA, Ms. Anda helped to grow the IT capital planning and investment control (CPIC), budgetary, procurement, IT portfolio management, and program management support practice areas within Perot Systems Government Services as a consultant supporting U.S. civilian and defense organizations such as the Department of Army (USA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and General Services Administration (GSA). She also possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the non-profit sector as the founder of a national community service organization, board member and consultant to numerous local and national non-profits, and the co-chair of a national summit on youth-adult partnership and community service.

 

Ms. Anda has been recognized with numerous awards and citations throughout her career to include the Jefferson Award from the National Institute for Public Service, the Federal Computer Week Rising Star Award, and the E-Award from the Business Transformation Agency.

Ms. Anda holds a BSBA degree in Management and International Economics from American University and is currently pursuing a MBA at the University Of Maryland Smith School Of Business. She has been a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) and the Washington Chapter since 2003 and as served in numerous volunteer leadership roles.
