Training Opportunity: Leadership Audio Conference on Jan 28, 2009

On January 28, 2009 ASMC Washington Chapter will participate in the ASMC audio conference on leadership from a Pentagon conference room.  Dr. John Kline, an expert on leadership and an outstanding teacher, will provide practical guidelines for managing people and processes including seven practical tips.  This conference will provide a good refresher for seasoned managers and excellent training for soon-to-be managers.  The conference will start at 2 pm Eastern and will last for 60 to 90 minutes.  Washington Chapter will cover the charge of $99 per line.  Please Contact your Chapter Service Secretary to register and get location information.

American Society of Military Comptrollers

ASMC is the non-profit educational and professional organization for persons, military and civilian, involved in the overall field of military comptrollership. Military comptrollership is defined as the professions of financial management in the Department of Defense and Coast Guard.

ASMC promotes the education and training of its members, and supports the development and advancement of the profession of military comptrollership. The society sponsors research, provides professional programs to keep members abreast of current issues and encourages the exchange of techniques and approaches.
